Who should attend (and who shouldn't)

Researchers in AI research who want four days of peer-reviewed papers, keynotes, a town hall and two receptions in Helsinki, with 58 listed speakers, are the clear audience. Skip it if you are after product-focused, hands-on engineering content, because the listed sessions are main conference sessions plus a workshop and tutorial slot. Wait to book travel until prices appear, since pricing is not published.

About IUI 2027

Researchers working on human-computer interaction and AI are the audience for IUI 2027, the 32nd ACM Conference on Intelligent User Interfaces. ACM IUI organizes the four days from Monday, February 8 to Thursday, February 11, 2027 in Helsinki, Finland, at Helsinki Congress Paasitorni.

The schedule lists a workshop, tutorial and doctoral consortium session, an opening keynote and remarks, main conference sessions, a town hall, and a closing keynote and remarks. Two social events are named, a City of Helsinki Reception and a Dinner Reception.

The main paper deadline was August 20, 2026. Initial notifications arrive on October 29, rebuttals follow on November 5, final decisions on November 23 and camera-ready papers are due December 3 (all Anywhere on Earth). The October 19 date shown earlier is the Doctoral Consortium deadline. Fees and a registration cut-off were not published at our check.
